Speyside Whisky What Is The Difference In Taste Between A Highland And A Speyside Whisky And Which Is Nicer?

What is the difference in taste between a highland and a speyside whisky and which is nicer? - speyside whisky

There are 6 types of whiskey.
Highland
Lowland
Cambletown
Islay
Jura
Speyside
The difference between them is where the water comes from the whiskey. Speyside have a rounded taste richer than they are easier on the palate. Highland Malta are generally stronger in flavor and lighter color.

Each whiskey distillery, which makes it unique and what is difficult to do more than generalize. Speyside are typically lighter and less peat, although there are many exceptions to this rule. The taste is something personal, long but for me the Speyside (although there are no bad whiskey).

There are many books about whiskey, but also a great introduction to wine tasting is the book by David Wishart classified Whiskey "

Enjoy and find their own favorite - try a 15-year-old Longmorn for a fantastic (and economic) DRAM magic Spey.
